What a fantastic season it has been, we have skied with so many ValThorensGB.com readers and seen some very unusual sites (James and Ade that would be you!)!

We have seen large rocks falls stopping the traffic reaching and leaving the ski resort.

More Michelin stars have arrived in resort making Val Thorens a eaters paradise!

We have also seen lots of avalanches which sadly have caught several skiers and snowboarders, a reminder that the mountains are not just our playground.

With one of the longest ski seasons in Europe even Val Thorens has to switch off the lifts, pack away the Toboggans and finish off what is left behind the bars. The end of the season is here. 🙁

BUT don’t fear it is only 6 months until it all starts again! Plus Val Thorens is open in the summer for several weeks which we highly recommend if you want something different from the beach holiday.

This season was the first season for our website ValThorensGB.com taking over the mantle from our parent website SkiGB.com as the go to website for Val Thorens. Next season the site sees a big upgrade which includes new tools to help you enjoy your skiing in Val Thorens a little better.
